The reunion of Kolej Jati 5504 roomies

I went to Melaka with the kids two days after we came back from our vacation. Ye… tak sempat nak jetlag bagai, landed je KLIA, next ray terus back to work okay! Sibaik dapat work from home aje…. Tapi mmg sibuk max la kan… 3 weeks out of office… amek ko… email je dah beratus nak kena baca and follow up! Huhuu…

Anyway, we went to Melaka for #imrantothemone menyambut menantu event. But the best part of this trip was I got to meet an old friend! My bff cum roomate during my diploma years in ITM, Shah Alam. It was a last minute plan... I messaged her asking if she would be free that evening... and the rest was history :)

We were reunited after 31 years of leaving ITM. 

The one who shared the most ups and downs moments with me during my 3 years of doing diploma in ITM.

The one with most unique name too :

Ms Chambarihan Nawati binti Zaladin.

Unik kan nama dia? Seunik orangnya!

Peminat tegar Ramlah Ram ni… until now kalau dengar lagu Ramlah Ram sure terbayang2 muka dia 😂

Well, that was the beginning of everything. Pencetus segalanya 😅 When we share our pictures in the wassap group, maka bermula lah another plan of the ‘real reunion’ for the rest of us - the occupants of room 5504, Kolej Jati year or 88-91.

So.... on 19th Jun2022, located at Pastries Gallery & Bistro by Chef Zubir, Setia Alam, our very first reunion for occupants of room 5504, Kolej Jati 8891.

5 out of 6 of us made it to this gathering.

Most of us haven’t met since 1991 😅

Walaupun kami ni belajar dalam bidang yang berlainan (yours truly in computer science, Mie in landscape architecture, Ila in banking, Shila in food technology, Faez in hotel catering, Kak Ani in fashion design, Nab in ceramic art and Min in transport business), we survived 3 years of sharing the same space (it was more like an apartment with 2 rooms and one living room that is converted into a room as well)! 

Terlalu banyak memory yang kami share bersama - pahit, manis, masam, tawar,  kelat, pedas… semua ada lah 😂 Priceless moments indeed! ❤️

I must say that it was a success reunion. Banyak la cerita lama keluar balik kan… tak tahan nak gelak bila keluar balik cerita pakwe2 lama seseorang tu hahahhaha!

Too bad Kak Ani, Nab and Min could not make it.
